Radiant Heat Barriers
Radiant Heat Barrier is a multilayered aluminum foil used as radiant heat barrier. It used for Air-conditioning roof insulation. It improves the air-conditioning efficiency and gives a significant reduction in power consumption. Installed at Big Bazaar (Hubli), International Airport (Kochi), and many other locations where the summer heat makes it impossible to work under a shed and also reduces the air-conditioning efficiency. Factory sheds, Poultry and warehouses: to make the inside temperature more ambient. Features: Radiant Heat Barrier is a 6 layer fire retardant double sided aluminum foil laminate with a superior radiant heat barrier reflective properties for roofing insulation and an effective vapor barrier for air conditioning ductwork. Radiant Heat Barrier is produced by extruding 2 layers of co-polymers resins as bonding agent onto 1 layer of high strength kraft paper and heat-welding 2 layer of aluminum foil and 1 layer of reinforcing 3 layer of fiberglass scrim into a perfect seal. Radiant Heat Barrier has high scuff resistance on both sides of the product and high puncture and tensile strength in all directions. It has very low water vapor permeance and due to water resistance, it prevents damage from minor roof leaks. Radiant Heat Barrier can reduce heat flow downwards when properly installed and designed on the basis for a total roof system. Application Heat Shield is designed to be used as a thermal barrier against radiant heat for roof and wall insulation in the building industry, especially in countries having tropical climate and high relative humidity. Heat Shield is also recommended as a vapor barrier for air conditioning ductwork, computer flooring, ceiling and pipe jacketing where moisture control is required.
